Grapes are harvested from Mendocino County. Aged in 40% French oak barrels, 15% Hungarian oak barrels and 5% American oak barrels.
Intense fruit flavors of blackberry and blueberry combine with light herbaceous notes and tantalizing notes of leather, cinnamon, spice and clove. Silky tannins bring out the richness of the fruit and give it a velvety texture.

The Mendocino Wine Company was founded in 2004 by the Paul Dolan and Thornhill families of eco-elite growers and the first carbon neutral American winery.
Aiming to contribute to society, we choose environmentally friendly farming methods. Paducci is responsible for the company's volume zone and realizes cost-effective wines.
Currently run by the Thornhill family, the president welcomes Gary Glass, former vice president of Coppola, and is working on vegan wine.
