Dueling Pistols Paso Robles Red Blend 2016
Color: Inky purple with scarlet highlights
Aroma: Thought-provoking dark fruit aromas balanced with floral and spicy notes
Taste: Jammy entrance with a dense midpalate wrapped around a core of soft tannins. The finish is long and lingering.
Fermentation: Both varieties were fermented separately spending 12-15 days on skins. After malolactic fermentation, the wines were blended together for aging.
Aging: Aged in French Oak barrels for 15 months, 20% new oak.

One man raised a pistol for country. One for love. Of the seven witnesses, three of them hoped neither man would survive, two of them needed both men to live, and one was no man at all. The town physician stood ready, but willing to save neither shooter. The town drunk wandered over with a secret to tell. The town Sheriff was there as well, standing right in the middle, but even he wasn't about to get between these dueling pistols.
