Savigny les Beaune 2017

Characteristic of Savigny's distinctive fruity and floral aroma. Delicate and balanced, with long-lasting red fruit nuances.
Domaines Jean-Marc and Hugues Pavlot in Savigny-les-Beaune (Côtes de Beaune, Burgundy) have been passed down from father to son for several generations, guaranteeing the know-how that has built their reputation.
Today, the property extends over 13 hectares, mainly in the town of Savigny-les-Beaune, but also in the towns of Beaune and Arrows-Corton.
Our production allows us to discover more than a dozen different wines with very diverse characteristics. These differences are closely related to the concept of terroir, a characteristic of Burgundian viticulture. Thus, each name and climate expresses a rather complex relationship between the geology, topography, and even history of a place.
This diversity is very much evident in the vineyards of Savigny-les-Beaune, which cover two hills and the valley that connects them. The altitude ranges from 220 to 360 meters. The nature of the soils is very diverse, with exposures oriented to the south, southeast and northeast.
Pinot Noir for red wines and Chardonnay for white wines are the special grape varieties of the great Burgundy.
