pureCru Secret 7 2013

pureCru Secret 7 2013

The 2013 California harvest was a very good year for the entire West Coast, as the climate conditions were ideal for the ripening period of the grapes. It was also the second highest harvest year in recent years.
Rare clones Secret Clone and Clone 7 were used. Aged for 34 months in selected French oak. Blended just before bottling.
The palate is filled with ripe nuances of gooseberry, cherry, and plum, along with subtle impressions of chocolate and cardamom. It also has a juicy freshness and a very long, impressive finish.

93 points awarded - James Suckling 2016
