Finca La Estrella crianza 2019

The destemmed grapes are fermented under controlled conditions. Then malolactic fermentation takes place partially in barrels. The wine is aged for 15 months in oak barrels, 70% French and 30% American.
Medium ruby color. Intense aromas of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry, and plum, with hints of blackberry and licorice that are perfectly balanced by subtle hints of vanilla and cedar. Powerful, rounded, mature tannins accentuate the red fruit and sweet spice flavors. The wine has body with a polished and persistent finish.
In 1853, the Lozano family planted the first vineyards in Villalobredo, Spain, with a focus on Airen, a white grape variety native to the region. Since then, four generations have been growing grapes and producing high quality wines, and the foundation has been laid through many stages of relentless effort, persistence, and prudence that have made Lozano Winery what it is today.
It is also a benchmark professional family business in the international wine sector, committed to adapting to new times through new products and formats.
