LE PETIT LEON 2019
Grapes harvested from 20-year-old vines along the Gironde River are hand-selected and aged in stainless steel tanks.
Intense garnet red in color, the nose has characteristic notes of red fruit mixed with toasted aromas, tannins are round and silky, supple and persistent on the palate.
A well-balanced and easy-to-drink wine.
Traditional Medoc winegrowers, the Meyer family has been running the family winery for six generations. Pioneers of wine tourism, they opened their doors to tourists early on.
Producers Julien and Natalie continue the tradition of Merlot-dominance, egg white fining, 12-month aging in barrels and hand-harvesting of young and old grapes, while creating their own new additions to this famous Médoc Cru Bourgeois. He brings experience and a dynamic approach to winemaking.
