Curtis Cavaliere MV GSM 2016
McLaren Vale's climate has low summer rainfall and a high need for irrigation, but as a result of its constant commitment to efficient water use and sustainability, it is now described as "the greenest wine region" in Australia. The color is a deep, bright purple. Deep spice, berry, and chocolate aromas integrated with oak. Full-bodied with an overflowing, complex mix of mocha, vanilla, and deep red berry flavors. Mid-palate sweetness nicely integrated with American oak. Finishes long and well balanced with silky soft tannins.

The Curtis family has been growing grapes and producing wine in McLaren Vale since 1973. Today, the Curtis family is focused on developing complex, premium wines for the Australian market. These premium wines showcase the Curtis Family's passion for great McLaren Vale wines. The Curtis Family Vineyard uses a combination of grapes grown on the family's own vineyards and grapes from high quality McLaren Vale producers. The fusion of monopole (solely owned vineyard) and sub-regional regionality is the secret to their winemaking. The sub-regions are Brewitt Springs, McLaren Flat, Willunga, and McLaren Vale.
