Alias Secret Agent Red Blend - 2014
.Harvest in 2014 started earlier than any time in recent memory, but the growing season was not shortened as we had a warm winter and spring causing an early bud break. This gave the fruit plenty of time to mature and develop wonderful flavors. It was another great quality vintage in California, similar to the 2012 and 2013. Sadly, 2014 was also the year that Napa was rocked with a 6.0 earthquake that hit us on August 24, right in the middle of harvest. It was an emotional time, but there were almost no casualties, so we'll raise a glass to this high quality and fortunate vintage.

.The 2014 Alias Secret Agent Red is dark brick red in the glass, with bold aromas of ripe red fruits, pepper and, tobacco, followed with smooth cedar and plum. These notes continue onto the palate with hints of wood and earthiness. The tannins are smooth and well balanced, making this wine excellent on its own, or paired with your favorite medium-hard cheese.
