LangeTwins Nero d’Avola 2018

Red Tail Vineyard, on rocky loam soils, is a 3.62-acre parcel of open vineyards with a small, well-defined canopy, which allows sunlight to filter through and ripen the fruit evenly. This allows sunlight to filter in and ripen the fruit evenly.
We have chosen a hands-off approach to the wine to take advantage of naturally occurring aromas and flavors, and once fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to neutral barrels to allow the subtle flavors of the fruit to develop, without overdoing the oak. The wine opens with bright aromas of raspberry and spice, followed by additional dark fruit notes on the palate and through to the finish. With its fine tannins and fruit flavors, this wine pairs well with a variety of foods.
