Champion golfer Fred Couples and awardwinning winemaker Mitch Cosentino have teamed up to form Couples & Co, a wine brand that celebrates a shared Italian heritage and fine, limited-production wine. After an in-depth tasting of preliminary blends with Cosentino in 2008, Couples knew he had found the right partner. “We are producing limited production wines designed to accompany fine world cuisine. But wine that also works artistically and stands on its own.”
Couples & Co. is a product of pureCru Napa Valley, an ultra-premium winery.
This Sangiovese is an homage to their Italian heritage from which both come. This first vintage is already a Gold Medal winner in its 1st competition just prior to release. Balanced and bright with the intensity, density and character more common in Italian Brunellos. Ideal with a wide range of cuisine.
